Landon is 3!

Summertime, and the living is BUSY!  In an all the time fun kind of way. :)  The end of June and beginning of July was jam packed with vacations, parties, and travel.  This post, however, is going to focus on our big man Landon and the wonderful weekend we had celebrating his 3rd birthday.

The theme of his party weekend was Mickey Mouse.  Our families and a few out of town close friends spent the weekend at the WorldQuest Resort in Orlando.  Friday night we had a Mickey birthday party with Landon's favorite food- PIZZA! As usual I had lots of fun planning and decorating for the occasion.

The kids, who are getting older and becoming even closer friends, enjoyed playing party games and running around blowing their whistles.

Singing, cupcakes, AMAZING Mickey Mouse Cookies (thanks Auntie Alaina ;)), and presents!

I think he likes his new bike...

The next morning all 21 of us went to The Magic Kingdom for the day.  It was a hot one... but very enjoyable nonetheless.  Even the adults had fun!

Awaiting the Dumbo ride...

Silly kids!

The classic Carousel

Pirates of the Caribbean

Race Cars (so fun!)

Who says The Magic Kingdom is just for kids?

I personally LOVED TMK's newest ride- The Little Mermaid!

We all enjoyed many other rides as well.  At the end of the day when asked what his favorite was Landon said "The roller coaster!" which we had ridden much earlier in the day.  Needless to say all of us rested well that night.

Which was important because the next day we all enjoyed a couple of hours in the resort's beautiful pool.  Yes, this one will go down in the books as a VERY successful birthday weekend.  And I can't wait to show Landon all of the photos of his 3rd birthday in the future as evidence of just how much he is loved.  Thanks so much to our families and special friends for making it such a 'magical' experience.  XOXO
