Party Time!

Our baby boy turned one and boy did we celebrate!  Our jungle themed party was a huge success!  Oh what fun we all had as we honored the big one year old!

I had a lot of fun planning and getting everything ready for Connor's big day.  We were blessed with a nice, overcast, not blazingly hot day without rain!  The park was beautiful and shady and had a really fun playground the kids (and adults!) enjoyed.

These brand new, beautiful stuffed animals were given to us by Meme's best friend Mary.  They served as a nice addition to the center pieces and the babies got to take them home with them!

The beautiful cake was once again made by my mom. :)
These are the number one although I've been told they look like something else...

The bounce house was a hit from the very beginning to end of the party.  Connor loved crawling around in there and squealed out of enjoyment.Of the three hours Landon was in there for probably two.  No joke.  I think he had the most fun out of everyone.

This is Landon and his girlfriend Aubrey.  They've been buds since they were babies.

Loving the swings!!!

Cake time was so fun.  He stared wide eyed, smiling ear to ear as we all sang to him.  Then he dove in!  Cake was EVERYWHERE by the time he was done with it.

We had his one year check up earlier this week.  He is a healthy little boy weighing 21 lbs., 1 oz. and 31 1/2 inches long.  He's eating all table food now and I've transitioned him to cow's milk.  We are still doing a nighttime breastfeed, however that will be coming to an end in about a week.  He loves music and will dance every time he hears it.  He gives hi fives, waves, and loves to clap.  He says Mama, Dada, doggy, and bye, although he doesn't talk very often.  He'll take a few steps if you coax him, but still prefers to whip around on his knees.  He is a truly content little boy and I can't wait to see what this next year brings!
