Big Smiles!

We have had a lot to smile about around here lately. Our little boy continues to grow and change with each passing day. I had my check up and was given permission to resume all normal activity. I get to go back to the gym! My brother Justin recently graduated from the University of Central Florida and we got to visit with the Campagnano family. Landon is quite popular with my girlfriends and I just love when they stop by to spend time with us- especially since this week Paul is in Baltimore on business. I took Landon by the school I work at and he got to meet some of my friends there. He was so well behaved! We've been having a great time.
Uncle R.J. stopped by for a quick visit last week. He was at the hospital the day Landon was born but had to drive back to Jacksonville before the baby was released from the transition nursery. He had come all that way and didn't get a chance to hold him! Well, here they are- six weeks later. So sweet!

My dear friend Kelly can't get enough of Landon! And Landon just loves his Auntie! She's so good with him. Sometimes she brings along Abby, who is in love with Kingston. I believe the feelings are mutual. They are non-stop when they get together!

Landon loves spending time with his daddy! And the smiles... oh the smiles. For about a week now he has been smiling for real! I just melt every time he looks into my eyes and flashes a big one.

Our Big Boy!

5 weeks and counting. I know I sound like a broken record, but it's amazing how quickly time is passing. Landon is doing really well! We went to the pediatrician's yesterday and had a great check up. Apparently Paul and I are naturals at this parenting thing, because the doctor pretty much said we're doing everything right. :) Our little boy is rapidly growing and changing with each day. Current info. about Landon:
Length: 21 1/2 in. (grew 1/4 inch in 3 weeks)
Weight: 10 lbs. 14 oz.! (gained 2 1/2 lbs. in 3 weeks)
Clothes: 0-3 months, 3 months
Diapers: Size 1
Sleep: still 2-3 hours at a time
Eats: 4 oz. every 2 1/2 - 3 hours (30 oz. a day)
Eyes: still blue
Hair: light brown/blond
Likes his swing and bouncer when he's in a good mood
No longer cries for changes and baths (yay!)
Can hold his head up for a while (30 sec. or so)
And I feel a real smile coming any day now (can't wait!)
We continue to have visitors come by to see Landon. He loves to meet new people! His eyesight is getting a little better and he enjoys studying faces. He's excited to see his grandma, grandpa, and uncles this weekend. They are coming to visit since my brother is graduating from UCF on Saturday. (So proud of you, Justin!)
Here are some pictures that were taken earlier this week. I think the onsie he's wearing that my mom bought him is so stinkin' cute! I read a Dr. Seuss book to him before a nap the day he wore this and he enjoyed listening to the story.
A few weekends ago (when Landon was about 2 1/2 weeks old) our friends Dave and Andrea came over to do a newborn photo shoot. Andrea is a very talented photographer and she's starting a business, so we asked her to take pictures of Landon. They came out really great and we'll be using some of them for the birth announcements we plan on sending out. Below is a picture she took that I will cherish forever. Me and our big boy!
