Showered with Kindness

It's been a while since my last post. I was having computer difficulties and was unable to access the internet from my laptop. I had picked up a nasty virus, but luckily today I was able to fix the problem. A lot of fun things have been going on in the past few weeks.
On May 20th my coworkers threw me and another first grade teacher named Heather a joint baby shower. It was really nice! We enjoyed the very yummy cake pictured below, a fun sherbert punch, and were given many wonderful gifts. It was a special afternoon.
Heather and I
The four of us are having summer babies! From right to left, Alysia is due 6/15, I am due 7/7, Christine is due 7/31, and Heather due 9/4. We're all about three weeks apart! How funny is that???
On May 25th Paul and I celebrated Kingson's first birthday. I can't believe he's already one! We've been enjoying him so much, and boy how the time has flown by.

I definately have more blogging to do. Our nursery is all put together and this past weekend was my baby shower with my friends. I'll be posting again soon- probably later this week so that I can catch up!

Fun With Family

The past two weekends have been so much fun! Two weeks ago Paul's family came to visit us from Jacksonville. We got to spend some quality time with them on Saturday at a Kentucky Derby party (great time Bryan and Kara!) and on Sunday morning enjoying a delicious brunch on Park Avenue. It was an early Mother's Day celebration, and even I got some cards and gifts. This whole motherhood thing is still pretty unbelievable, but it's getting more real with each passing day and I'M LOVING IT!
This past weekend my family came up from Coral Springs to spend Mother's Day with us. Another great time was had. Mom and I enjoyed pedicures while the boys golfed. Our FABULOUS nursery furniture was delivered on Friday, so we all spent some time arranging it and starting to decorate. I'm not going to lie- I go in there everyday just to look and imagine what it's going to be like when Landon is here. I'll definately post some pictures once it's all together, which shouldn't be much longer now.

I had my 32 week check up today and everything continues to look great! Landon has a strong, steady heartbeat and boy does he like to move around! I absolutely LOVE when he kicks and rolls and punches. I can just picture him in there working out- our little athlete in training. :) At this point in the pregnancy he's almost 4 pounds and approaching 19 inches in length. Here I am ready to hit the gym this afternoon.
