How quickly time flies...

Already 30 weeks pregnant. WHAT??? Our son, Landon Joseph, will be here before we know it! How excited am I? We've got a lot going on these next few weeks, so keeping busy will make the time go by even faster.
Paul and I recently registered at Babies R Us and Target. Our first trip was a little overwhelming... I recall standing in the bottle section thinking 'How the hell am I supposed to know what we need?' But by our second trip I had loosened up a bit and had fun with it. I think Paul was having fun too.
Another fun thing that we've accomplished is ordering our nursery furniture! It's going to be so perfect, I just know it. It's getting delivered next Friday, so that really puts the pressure on for PJ to finish his work on the walls. The project is in motion, and I must say I think it's going to look amazing. My handyman husband is doing all the work himself! He's so awesome.

Busy Bees

We have had a BUSY couple of weeks recently. The three of us (plus baby :)) traveled down to Coral Springs to spend Easter with my family. It was really nice- I hadn't been to my parent's in over 4 months. And I'm happy to report that it's official... Kingston no longer gets car sick! It's a wonderful thing really... not having to attempt to catch throw up in his food bowl anymore! Is that too much info?
This past weekend we drove up to Jacksonville, dropped Kingston off at Grandma Kennedy's, and flew to Connecticut for a wedding. My oldest childhood friend got married on a BEAUTIFUL, sunny, Sunday afternoon. I haven't seen 'nice' Connecticut weather since I moved away from there 17 years ago. We only ever visit for Christmas over the bitter cold winters, so it was a really great change. The grass was incredibly green and the trees were in bloom. It was wonderful! And I am so happy for Terri and Eddie. I just know they'll have a happy life together.

Work has been crazy busy. Every day more work gets piled up and I just have to tell myself to take it one day at a time. The end of the year Numbered Listalways entails lots of work. But I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Oh yes I can. It's 39 days away.

Tomorrow I have my 28 week check up at the doctor's. They will be doing a glucose screening to check for gestational diabetes. Because of this I cannot have breakfast until after 9:30. I hope I survive! I am looking forward to hearing our baby's heartbeat though. That never gets old.
