February Fun

Last weekend we had a visit from Mimi and Titi. They came into town to watch Landon while Paul and I went to a couples baby shower for our great friends Dave and Andrea. And whenever Mimi and Titi come into town they come bearing gifts... this time it was adorable clothes for the coming spring/summer, Elmo pj's and an Elmo Valentine book, and this super cool backyard pop-up tent! He had a lot of fun playing outside last weekend, even though he's been fighting seasonal allergies that were apparently extremely bad at the time due to the lack of rain. He's much better now :)

We can always count on Titi Rudy to snap some great pictures. This one of him in the tent is one of my favorites!

The weather here in Central Florida has been strangely warm the past couple of weeks. I'm talking high 70's/80's everyday. That is until last night. On Friday we were enjoying nice warm weather; shorts and t-shirts; and then last night the temp dipped into the low 30's! Today the high doesn't even reach into the 60's. It's so bazaar! Anyway, every night when we are picking out pajamas after Landon's bath he practically begs to wear his Paul Frank zip up sleeper w/ footies and all. I have been trying to explain to him that he would be too hot at night if he wore them and that he'd have to choose something else. So last night when his desire to wear these pj's came true, he was VERY happy.

They are really adorable. And what's even cuter is that there is a tag on the zipper that says "Small Paul." I'm not even kidding! Isn't that funny? Time continues to race by. Here I am at 23 weeks pregnant, feeling great. We have kind of begun to prepare for Connor Joseph's arrival. After spending a few months in mommy and daddy's room, Connor will take over the nursery. Which mean Landon gets a new big boy room! We are in the process of cleaning out the room that is currently used as a guest room/office. Yesterday we found some furniture for him, and we continue to look for ideas on a sports theme. I feel good about our plans and am excited for Landon to make the big move. Of course it won't be for another 6-7 months or so...
Another thing we are looking forward to is a visit from Grandma and Nono. We haven't seen them since Christmas! They will be coming up in the next couple of weeks. Yay! I hope everyone has a wonderful Valentine's Day filled with love :)
