It is getting harder and harder for me to keep up with this thing which is so sad for many reasons. However currently I'm on Spring Break and can focus a little attention on something other than work :). Things have changed a lot in our household since the last time I wrote. For one- Landon has been officially potty trained for almost two months now! Mama and Dada are SO proud of our little man. He has really embraced going on the potty and even almost always has dry naps and dry nights about 50% of the time. And our little muffin Connor- well he is constantly on the move crawling all over the place. Paul and I both forgot what it is like to have a crawling baby in the house. And just like Landon when he was a crawler Connor loves to go for the dog bowls. Yuck! Needless to say we have to have eyes all over the place now. He is still a happy camper and he's very vocal. The two boys will sometimes get going in these yelling matches- sounds awful but it's actually quite funny and cute. I'm definitely looking forward to spending this week at home with them.
So here are some pictures of all the fun things we've done over the past 2 months. We visited Grandma and Nono in late February and took the boys to a park where Landon got to enjoy his very first pony ride! We went with my friend Amanda and her two daughters, pictured here and ready to ride.
Landon had so much fun! At one point he said to me, "Mommy, make the pony go faster." LOL. That I couldn't do, but he enjoyed himself nonetheless.
Connor came with us and although he was too little to ride a pony he was his happy self watching the big kids play on the playground and jump in the bounce house. We also got to see some chickens, goats, and cows.
We've had a busy March and it isn't over yet! Here we are pictured at our very first UCF basketball game. Not the best picture, but unfortunately the only one we got. The boys were great and Landon even got to give the players high fives at the end of the game! To this day he says he's going to play basketball for UCF when he is older. :)
Mimi and Titi were in town the weekend we went to a first birthday party for a special friend. Isn't this picture the cutest?
I just had to dress my Irish boys up for St. Patty's Day. Paul cooked a delicious Irish dinner- corned beef and cabbage with potatoes and carrots. YUM!
Today we got home from a fun weekend in Jacksonville. We visited Mimi and Titi and had our Easter with them. Yesterday we went bowling and for Landon's first time he did pretty well! It was so exciting for him and when he would knock down the pins he would pump his arm and say "yes!"
He decorated cookies with his Uncle RJ and Mimi and dyed eggs with me, Mimi, and Auntie Mary (which I didn't get a picture of :()
And had a fun Easter egg hunt!
Connor had fun too:)
On Thursday we're taking to boys to Sea World and then on Friday we're going back on the road to visit Grandma and Nono for Easter. More pictures to come! Thanks for being patient with me. I do enjoy posting and hope you still enjoy reading! Happy Easter!
