Spring Break!

Other than completely enjoying my job everyday a major perk of being a teacher is the vacation time. I'm currently on Spring Break and boy have we kept ourselves busy! This past Friday the boys and I drove up to Jacksonville for the weekend. Landon got to spend time with his Memere and Auntie Rudy. He sure does love them! Then on Saturday we traveled east to Jax Beach to hang with the Meyers. We always have so much fun when we get together. The kids had a BLAST at the beach.
Landon had so much fun playing in the sand with Marley and Merrick. He did try to make a meal of the sand quite a few times, but otherwise he did a great job shoveling and raking it.
It didn't take long for the little guy to get tuckered out, but he refused to fall asleep! So he just chilled in the tent for a while. The twins are so sweet and really like Landon. They stayed close by while he was resting. :)
As usual the weekend trip flew by and we had to part ways. We'll see them again this May though, when they come down to our stomping grounds. :)
So today Paul and I took Landon to Sea World for the first time!!! I have been incredibly excited about this for weeks, so naturally I was quite disappointed when I woke up to find that the weather today was going to be awful. After weeks of gorgeous Florida spring weather, today it rained nonstop. Well, we went anyways and had a great time. Got real wet, but had fun none the less. Another perk of being a teacher in Fl- free annual Sea World pass. PJ got one too, so we can go back all year.
After Pj and I rode Manta (which is an awesome coaster) we headed to a dolphin show. Landon loved it! He was such a great boy.
Then we headed over to Shark Encounter where we walked through a tunnel which showcased beautiful sea life including different kinds of sharks. Landon took it all in- it was so neat to see his reaction to all of these new things!
Look out, Landon!!!
After the sharks came the penguins. We got to see them feeding while we were there.

And lastly we went to a Sea Lion show, but our little man had had enough. The show was really loud and yet he slept right through it.

The rest of the week will be more relaxed- hanging out locally with some friends. And then next week we have his nine month check up! Exciting stuff :)
